Light Changing Series
Rachael is a published illustrator and artist, and will be pleased to undertake commissions in oil, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, ink or pen. Please visit her website at www.queenstown-artist.co.nz for further examples of her work. She has two art projects currently running. 'Vintage Buttons, and her "Light Changing Series" which is being exhibited in Artbay Gallery in Queenstown, and Amisfield Winery on the way to Arrowtown. 'What Kiwi Means to Me'. The second art project is a series of Kiwi themed still life paintings, as seen in the picture. As Rachael has integrated into the Kiwi way of life, she decided to pay homage to a few kiwi greats, and also explore the crossover of some of her own English roots. Her first piece was named "What Kiwi Means to Me". She is now embarking on her second arrangement and is keen to take commissions if anyone has something in particular in mind. Rachael can be found painting these pieces in as artist in residence in Artbay Gallery, Queenstown. Vintage Buttons These pieces are put together with Vintage Buttons that Rachael has collected over the past year. They can be viewed at Artbay Gallery in Queenstown, and can be made to order with your chosen 'star'. See her latest, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid... |
